Traditional casts and splints often lead to uncomfortable itching or unpleasant odor. They are heavier and generally more cumbersome, making it difficult for you to move around and carry out your daily activities as normal.
The product generally requires no maintenance but may be periodically cleaned with a damp cloth or soapy water.
If your FastForm® product becomes wet, drying can be accelerated with the application of a hairdryer. However care should be taken not to localize heating for extended periods as it may soften the product and cause discomfort. Note: Depending on ambient temperatures and humidity levels a FastForm® product normally takes between 1 – 2 hours to be touch dry and may take longer to be fully dry. It is important that your FastForm® product does not remain wet for long periods as this may cause discomfort and skin maceration.
